There have been more than 45 paintings in this ongoing series, both large and smal, and in both oil and pastel. Each piece explores the abstract patterns of light that form on water, streets, and rooftops at sunset. In these works, I include enough visual cues to make it clear to the viewer that it is an urban landscape, but few enough that it doesn’t distract from my primary interest — the abstract patterns and the light.
